Advance Consent Authorization (ACA) allows you to pre-authorize specific, trusted individuals to communicate with Vanguard on your behalf, and serves two essential purposes:

  • If you ever become incapacitated, it ensures your chosen individuals have immediate access to the information and guidance they need — without waiting on doctors’ notes or court orders.
  • Access, Not Control: Your authorized individuals can receive information and support, but they cannot make changes to your Estate Plan.
  • Enhanced Security: ACA acts as an early alert system. If anyone unapproved contacts us about your plan, we can notify you and your designated contacts.
